James G. Maynard stands at the forefront of what critics are calling the Sixth Great Age of Filmmaking, where artificial intelligence is democratizing cinema and opening doors for millions of new storytellers. As Lead Creative and Founder of AI Creator House, Maynard is revolutionizing the way stories are told, making the magic of cinema accessible to everyone through the power of AI.

In October 2024, AI Creator House released The Wizard and The Scholar, one of the first feature-length AI-powered films ever created. This historical drama has won global acclaim, including awards for Indie Feature Film (low budget) at The New York Movie Awards and Best Animated Film at The London Movie Awards.

A second AI-powered feature film, Nobody Believes Cassandra, is scheduled for release on Saturday, 8 March 2025. This reimagining of the ancient tale of Cassandra—who could tell the future but was never believed—follows Dr. Cassandra Selene as she develops HELEN, an AI designed to examine history. When HELEN begins predicting the future, Cassandra’s decision to make the AI open source sets off a chain of events that will rattle the world.

Maynard has also completed several short films, including How Aliens Saved Christmas, in which he also plays Santa Claus, and A Bad Day for Dinosaurs, an AI-enhanced puppet show about two dinosaurs on the Yucatan Pennisula 66 million years ago, in the last minute before the asteroid that ended their era struck their forest.

Constantly merging science and art, James tutored astronomy while still an undergraduate, earning his degree in Physics, Chemistry, and History. He went on to write more than 10,000 science and medical articles for popular audiences, striving to make complex subjects accessible to the general public.

For five years, Maynard hosted and produced The Cosmic Companion, a weekly science show featuring interviews with leading global thinkers. During this time, he began exploring AI’s potential in production, laying the groundwork for his revolutionary work in filmmaking.

At AI Creator House, Maynard is pioneering techniques that merge cutting-edge AI technologies with traditional cinematic craftsmanship. He continues to refine his approach through online classes taught by industry legends, blending innovative technology and classical filmmaking techniques in his unique approach to creative development.

Maynard’s vision extends beyond technological innovation. He sees AI-powered filmmaking as a means to reshape our collective consciousness, particularly regarding humanity’s relationship with science and space exploration. Drawing from his background in space science, he advocates for using these new storytelling tools to inspire a renewed sense of wonder about human potential and our future among the stars.

“I envision a future where AI-powered tools enable anyone, regardless of background or resources, to create cinematic masterpieces, fostering a global renaissance of storytelling,” Maynard explains.

Through AI Creator House, Maynard is building a global movement that combines technological innovation with creative empowerment. His work represents a seismic shift in the entertainment industry, promising to bring fresh perspectives and diverse voices to screens worldwide. Join James G. Maynard and AI Creator House as they redefine the future of filmmaking—one story, one dream, and one visionary at a time.
